Vilanelle

To M Tonight I love you more than you can know My feelings are not usually so clear Just kiss me one more time before you go I love it when we're like this; sweet and slow Our arms entwined, my lips beside your ear Tonight I love you more than you can know We say but little, keep our voices low - My parents in the other room: too near Just kiss me one more time before you go Feels like the first few times we kissed although We've been together almost half a year Tonight I love you more than you can know Our faces are lit with love's inner glow Still can't believe you love me and you're here Just kiss me one more time before you go I wish I did not have to let you go And yet I must; goodnight my sweet, sweet dear Tonight I love you more than you can know Just kiss me one more time before you go.
