My CATS experience was pretty good, other than the fact that I didn't get to the Mistoffelees that I would have cared for. o_O; Not that Ryan Jackson was bad. ^_^ I saw CATS on December 8th 2002 when it came down to NC for the Broadway South thing. ^^ I remember my mom asking me if we wanted to go and I said yes, for when I was little I wanted the video because I thought they looked like Thunder Cats. ^^<.

So you can see now, I'm a fairly new fan.

Before we saw the show my mom went researching and found a synopsis on the show so we would know what was going on. Thankfully she did that or we might have left.

When we got there we sat down and started checking the stage out. On either side of it there were lines of Christmas tree lights strung over the chandeliers and stage. Then the lights went off and CATS started. Victoria ran by us with her green flashy eyes and I remember thinking "What have I gotten myself into." The show went pretty well and I remembered at that time I really hadn't picked a favorite CAT yet!! I remember saying "Cool" when Tugger came out and thought it was hysterical when he made the kittens scream.

I also remember laughing at Bustopher because he was pretty funny looking. I was waiting on him to fall over. =^.^=

The twins were pretty cool to I was very excited and sang surprisingly along with the words (even tho I'd never heard them before which amazes me even now...o_O)

Now there is one thing you need to know, I HATE loud noises. So at that time I was dreading the Magician guy. Because all Magic guys have to make some kind of loud boom. So around Skimbleshanks I started to squirm alot.

Skimble, by the way, was second in line for my favorite cat after Munkustrap. I'm a sucker for European guys and he's Scottish. *giggles*

When Mistoffelees came out I remember whispering "Woah his outfit is lighting up!!!" Tho the loud explosions drove me away from his character instantly. But he dances pretty well.

After the show we went to Krispy Cream donuts and I asked my mom if we could get the video and the soundtrack. She said yes if she could find it.

I believe 1 or 2 weeks later I was visiting my Grandmother (it was the week my Grandfather died) to go the funeral and my mom said that her my Aunt Beth and my Grandmother went shopping. My mom had bought the DVD.

That night I was VERY VERY hyper that my mom had gotten me the DVD. So we got all the cousins (7 of us ya know) in the room and we put it in. *giggles* I thought the twins sounded SO WEIRD!! Becos our Rumpleteazer and Mungojerrie weren't cockney!! LOL.

I thought Munkus looked kind of hot, but then as the show progressed, I found myself searching for the 'magic' cat to see what he looked like. ^^; When I found him I remember remarking to my cousin "My god he's sexy."

So that's how!!
