Why He's My Favorite
Sven was my favorite character the first time I ever watched Voltron, it was quite funny because at the time I couldn't pronounce his name. ^^; I always called him Seven. *snickers*. But I mostly liked him because 1. He could navigate (and I can't. :D) 2. His accent. I am a huge sucker for European accents. xD. So it became official that I was all about Sven.

Do I Know Any BackGround of Sven?
Well um that's a hard question. I've searched and searched and haven't found much of anything on anybody. ^^; Dontcha just love my answer? Ok..um..well..from what *I* think (it's not official) Sven came from Earth and met Keith in the Space Academy. They worked together and formed the team.

Sven's Personality
It's quite obvious from the first six episodes of Voltron that Sven doesn't talk alot. He only talks when it's needed and hardly ever speaks anything out of place. His remarks sound planned and definitely mean something to every conversation.

Personally I think it's because of his accent. He probably understands that not everyone can fully comprehend his heavy accent. Which is also why I believe he talks slower than everyone else (ever noticed that?)

Am I Blind or is he wearing a school uniform?
Yes. Yes. Sven is wearing the typical boy uniform from Japan. What does this mean? Well..er...can mean a couple of things (if we're being silly that is) 1. Japanese Schools ripped off their male uniforms from Space Explores. 2. Sven isn't as old as I think he is (which is pretty amusing) and he's really just in school. 3. Some copyrights have been breached. Everyone R.U.N.

Now seriously, I have no *earthly* idea why Sven is wearing a male school uniform. Personally I think he looks nice and sexy in it! *puuurrs* but thats just me.

Ok maybe I'm insane but his hair part changes in the second season- why is that?
You guys ready for this? It's very very complicated so listen closely. In Go Lions the original Sven, Shirogane was his name, wasn't "injured" by Haggar, but rather *K I  L L E D* So that hunky man in the teal shirt isn't our man at all. It's his brother. Don't shoot the messenger please *cringes*. I'm just as upset as everyone else is. Dont know what I am talking about? Why let me show you!

 
Ok so the first pic is our Sven. The one we know and love. And apparently the other one is his brother. I read this a LONG time ago but I confirmed it on the Go Lion Site. Sven dies in the 6th episode. I watched the film clip of his burial and balled.

In the American version, Voltron, though, the writers didn't mess with that and just made it where Sven was injured. I much rather prefer the Voltron version with that in mind. O_O

His Accent? What is it?
Well, I'm not to sure exactly, but when I was younger I thought he was Swedish. Now that I'm older it's starting to sound like he's Irish. I'm going to get one of my European friends to give me their opinion and then I will let y'all know!
