Wait! I Got To Skate!? HELP! "Welcome to Las Vegas!" Jake smiled weakly as other dancers around him jabbed him in the arm. "Where ya from, anyway?" "North Carolina." Came the response. "So what's this musical about anyway?" "You audtioned and you don't even know what it's about!?" One of the girls exclaimed. "Wow, they said you were desperate but now I believe it!" "You're a brave one kid! Good luck!" Another girl said walking over and slapping him on the back. Before walking off. "Hey, don't listen to them! This is a fun Musical, from what I heard! I play Rusty! It'll be fun, just stick with me! Who do you play?" The man in front of him was grinning big. Jake smiled and relaxed setting his book bag on his shoulder again. "Turnov, I play the Russian--Train?" He looked at his paper again and cocked his head. "I sure don't see how I'm supposed to play a train." "Jake, right?" Jake nodded. "I'm Joshua. Being Trains is half the Battle. That's the fun part of this musical, Jake. We get to skate!" Joshua pulled Jacob over to a closet bursting full of costumes. He rummaged through and finally reappeared holding a pair of white rollar skates. Jacob paled at the sight. He'd thought he'd gotten away from any kind of skates for a long time. Just last month he was in Disney ice skating and dancing. Geez. He thought. Here we go again. Then again, he could rollar blade, so it shouldn't be that hard! Gingerally he took the skates from Joshua, rewarding his new friend with his soon to be signiture smile. |
