also by Pink Floyd:
I actually own a really rare version of this CD. For years it was the only legit CD of this compilation, only released in Australia on the "Axis" label, until 1996 when EMI released a remaster everywhere as part of the complete back catalogue. I found it upstairs at Andy's Records in Cambridge, now I'm kicking myself for not selling it to some hardcore (or more hardcore than I was) Floyd fan when it was valuable!
The music is patchy, but some of it is unavailable on normal albums including Syd's fun floppy-haired singles See Emily Play and Arnold Layne, and a boring studio recording of Careful With that Axe, Eugene (the live performances are much more blood-curdling!). Other rare curiosities include a trombone-fuelled lounge number "Biding my Time" sung by Roger, and a couple of drippy hippy tunes "Paintbox" and "Julia Dream".
