Greetings, lovely people. If we've sent you the link to this website, that means you're invited to our wedding (or at least to the ceilidh). We're getting married at 2pm on Friday the 25th of August, 2006, at Moreteyne Manor in the village of Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire. It's a civil ceremony, followed by dinner at about 4.30, and a ceilidh in the evening, all in the same place. We'd be honoured to have you there. Please tell us if you're coming! (but see what we need to know from you before replying). It's also OK if you can't come for the ceremony itself but can come for the dinner or the dancing - we'll still be delighted to see you.

We're intending the wedding to be a mellow, happy celebration of our wonderful relationship. After all, we've already been together for nearly ten years. So we don't particularly mind how formally you dress (very formal is fine, but so is very informal; you can wear a hat if you want to!) and we don't have a wedding list. There'll be dancing, music and cake, but as little in the way of speeches as we can get away with!

We've put together this website to help in sorting out some of the cat-herding logistics of getting fifty people to the same place at the same time. Let us know if there's anything we've missed out. See particularly the travel and accommodation pages. It's possible to get to and from Marston Moretaine in a day without leaving too early if you're coming from London, Cambridge or Milton Keynes. Those coming from further afield will probably want to stay overnight either in the village itself or in Bedford.
